In an effort to save water on government properties, the Utah Division of Water Resources developed a
Smart Controller Grant Program for government entities in Utah.
Entities may receive reimbursement of 50% up to $1500 per smart controller.
Funding is based on availability.
This program is only available to entities outside of Central Utah and Weber Basin Water Conservancy District areas, as both districts offer rebates for commercial and government properties already.
Entities residing in:
- Duchesne, Juab, Salt Lake, Sanpete, Uintah, Utah and Wasatch counties should apply for smart controller rebates through Central Utah Water Conservancy District
- Davis and Weber counties should apply for smart controller rebates through Weber Basin Water Conservancy District.
Please send completed applications to WaterRebates@Utah.gov with the subject line “Smart Controller Grant Application”. You will be contacted following your submission and a grant contract will be initiated.
